Congratulations!! You have made your first step towards feeling great, looking great, and taking charge of your goals! True, it may be a small step, but it’s the only way to start! Walking is a miraculous thing. YOU have the power to put one foot in front of the other. I can teach you the steps and aid you in your goals, but only YOU can reach them. Everyone has their own personal goals for starting an exercise plan, but ultimately you will find that they all pretty much reflect one another.
I can’t tell you how many hundreds of women have written to me, telling me their stories of how they lost real weight. (Twenty pounds, forty, sixty, even over one hundred) Take a look at some of their amazing stories. They are there to help motivate you! They are real people just like you that made a life changing decision to walk off the pounds. Whether it’s for…Better fitting clothes, to impress someone, to better your health, to lower stress levels, to assist a friend who has these goals, or simply to feel better, or better yet ALL OF THE ABOVE, all that really matters is that you have made the decision to follow through and to reach that goals.
Work out with a partner, having someone there to help motivate you when you can’t is always ideal.
Try making milestone goals to reach in gradual steps. Such as a weight loss goal of 5 lbs each month, to ultimately reach your goal of say 25 total pounds lost.
Try writing your goals down on stickers and place them in places you will see them, such as doors or even the steering wheel of your car. Most importantly in front of trouble areas such as pantries or refrigerators to help keep your goals in mind first before your impulse wants and desires.
A final suggestion would be to offer yourself treats or gifts for meeting certain goals. For example you get that nice jacket you have been eyeing up only if you reach this months goal. Incentive is always a good way to reward yourself and keep you on track. You deserve it!
