When I need a boost of energy, or I need to feel strong, or just need encouragement, I pop in a tape and I feel energized and revived. It is as though Leslie is talking to just me and inspiring me. The joy on all of the walker's faces on the tapes is so contagious. It gives YOU a joy, a chuckle and energy. I will be 50 shortly, and need to get my health life in shape and these are PERFECT.

I have been a fan since 2003, when I needed to lose weight for my wedding. I lost the weight I needed to fit into my dress, but never stuck with it. I got comfortable with being married over the years and got bigger and bigger as the years passed. I knew I needed to do something, but never put the effort into doing anything about it. In March, 2007, I started a Weight Watchers group. That is when I started your program and this time I challenged myself to stick with it and change the way I was eating. With your tapes and books, I was finally seeing the pounds melt away. I started doing the 1 mile DVD in the first week and added an additional mile each week after that. I am now doing the Walk Slim 4 fast miles and love it! I am in the best shape of my life. I made it to my goal weight in only eight months! I tell everyone about the workouts and how important it is to eat right and determination because it can be done.

About 2 1/2 years ago I was wearing a size 22 and was 205lbs. I was on the verge of going shopping for the 24's when I looked in the mirror and thought this is disgusting! Enough is enough. Fortunately for me, it was very soon after that I saw Leslie on an infomercial for Walk Away the Pounds for the Abs. I figured that sounded like something I could do. After several months of walking with Leslie, I was able to do the 3 mile tape and was thrilled to see the pounds dropping off. Once I read her books and started putting those eating suggestions to work with my walking, I was losing 2-3 lbs. per week!!! The weight just dropped off! I lost a total of 60 lbs! Now I am 145 lbs. and in a size 12!

More important than losing the weight, I have gained health. I feel so much better about myself and I have so much more energy and I sleep better. It really works. It works because I did it. It works because everyone could do it. My mom who is 69 has lost 20 lbs doing it. My boys do the tapes with me. Even my husband does it sometimes. It is truly a great program. You just have to DO IT FOR LIFE is my new motto. I don't ever want to go back to the unhealthy, overweight gal that I was 6 short months go.
